Amanda Balionis
Alexandra Leigh LaForce, born December 11 1988, is an American journalist and model as well as beauty pageant winner. She's currently a reporter at Turner Sports and covers the NBA on TNT. She was the prior lead reporter for SEC college games and also a courtside reporter during college basketball games. She is the host of We Need to Talk for CBS Sports Network. LaForce has also been a broadcast sportscaster and reporter at WJW (a FOX-affiliate located in Cleveland). In 2011, she was awarded an Emmy for anchoring FOX8's Friday Night Touchdown football high-school program. The show was named Miss Teen USA in 2005. Also, she played college basketball star at Ohio University. LaForce began her career as a pageant judge after winning title of Miss Ohio Teen USA title 2005, which was her first try at the title. It was a title she obtained in September 2004, her debut attempt. LaForce represented the Ohio representative for Miss Teen USA's 2005 pageant to be held in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on 8 August 2005. LaForce took part in the pageant wearing a swimsuit, night gown, as well as the last interview. She won Miss Teen USA for 2005. Shelley Hennig, from Louisiana was her successor. Her mother LaForce, born the late Lesa LaForce (nee Rummell), was Miss Ohio USA 1977. The award was for a 1 year model contract with Trump Modeling Management and an award of a college scholarship The School for Film and Television in New York City. In addition, she was invited to appear on the NBC soap opera Passions. LaForce traveled across all over the United States, promoting awareness regarding alcohol abuse and the use of drugs. She also maintained their Ohio high school certificate.
